Nook
A charming and neat little nook on the south side of the tracks in Dunblane.
Dippers Cottage. This could be a prompt image to inspire a short story.
I'm sure Graham Greene could have done something with it. He wrote a wonderful novel that started in suburbia, with the protagonist tending his dahlias. A prompt for a podcast about Greene today sent me to Amazon, to look again for the final instalment of Norman Sherry's biography of him. I read the first two in University (early 1990s), and always fancied reading the last. Today I found it, and bought it.
Turns out it was published in 2005, and Mr Sherry passed away in 2016.
Tempus fugit.
