Wisteria

Today's the day ..................... to stay put

Wherever we have lived, we have always planted a wisteria in the garden - just because we love the beautiful, slightly faded-looking flowers against those rich green leaves.

It has usually taken a while to get established and even longer to produce those flowers.  In fact, a couple of times we've found ourselves having to move house, just as the first flowering season happens.  So that gave rise to a family saying that, 'when the wisteria flowers, it's time to move on'.

Well, it's in flower now, against the old railway bridge, as you can see above.  But I'm pleased to tell you, that we have absolutely no intention of moving on anywhere.  We're very happy where we are, thank you .....................!
