A lost world

This lovely little book covers the rise and fall of some wonderful department stores. I remember visiting many of them over the years and their passing is a very sad comment on today's shopping options. I'm tempted to visit Liberty, Fortnum and Mason or Selfridges to soak up the old world charm.
