Drugs do work

Bad nights sleep last night with my back and it was painful getting out of bed. Managed to get a doctor’s appointment for the morning. Walked the dogs down to the doctors with J who took them home while I went in. Got the junior doctor who was being assessed so took longer for them to agree that I needed some powerful pain killers and stronger anti-inflammatories. Collected the dogs worming and flea stuff on the way back. Drugs started to work in the afternoon and I managed to get an appointment with our physio. She did a good job of causing me some more pain but it seemed to work freeing my back up a bit. With some more days on the drug and a bit of rest hopefully I’ll be better for the holiday. Had to chop the dog’s flea tablet up and force feed it to them as they hate the taste. J gave Kilda’s hers but I got Darwin. After the first quarter he kept walking away from me when he saw me but managed to get the tablet inside him by the end of the day and he seems to have forgiven me.
