Black and White Tree
The day started and ended cloudless, though a fair amount built up during the day.
This image of one of the trees above the garden is the result of using the infrared filter on the camera and then processing it with high contrast.
It was lovely to walk to the swimming pool in the early sunlight, albeit it was quite cold. I was joined in the lane by a lady training for her first open water competition at Lake Windermere in four weeks time. She is currently swimming 3000m per session (120 lengths of the 25 metre pool).
We had a relatively quiet day, lunch out at a local pub, a visit to the factory outlet and then looking at an example of a conservatory with a solid roof, as we are thinking of replacing the current polycarbonate roof on ours. Still not sure whether we will like it, we like the light we get in the conservatory, though we don't use it much in the winter as it is too cold being north east facing.
