Celebration

I've no idea what these women were celebrating but for me it was the fact of the sun finally breaking through the London smog today. What a difference. Staying with friends N and D, we were guided on a very green tour of North London from Canonbury to Clissold Park and the reservoirs at Woodberry Down. It was a joyous sight to see so many people camped out picnicking in the warm sunshine, ourselves included.

North London was as beautiful today as it appeared grim to me yesterday. I guess that's the difference with the moors. I find them just as beautiful in the worst of weather.
