smooth sailing
I worked this morning for an hour and then drove home to my David. I actually had to swing in and pick him up at Bear Frame and Wheel, where he was having Baby (the '56 Chevy) aligned. We rode home together to get my bags and then he dropped me at the airport. I missed him before we even said goodbye. Isn't it weird how that happens? You're thinking ahead so hard that you already are out of the moment? I claimed my curbside hug and then we parted ways for a remarkably long amount of days for us. We don't typically part for this long of a stretch at a time, but it was for a good cause: reconnecting with family in Chicagoland.
My flight was so smooth, and soon enough I was visiting with my sweet Aunt Debbie and wonderful Uncle Darrell. All is right and well. Now if I could just talk my family into moving to the Midwest..... hm. Gotta work on that.
