Last clan battle.

At the bottom of our road is a wee cairn.

It marks the site of the last interclan battle fought in Scotland in 1688 on the 4th August when the MacDonells of Keppoch defeated the Mackintoshs.

On our evening walk Nellie thought she would survey the battlescene!
