Not a mystery macro

I have managed to photograph something close up but I'm afraid that the subject is not a mystery.  I suppose it is a mystery to some people as why I feel the need to buy more when I already have so many pairs.  Well, firstly I can't resist and secondly it's the first time that I've added green to my collection.
In other news:  today we met up with Mr MC's S-in-L and husband as they are staying close by with his brother  and arrived from Australia yesterday.  It is 5 years since we saw them and certainly Violet has changed quite a bit since then.  I have too, but not for the better!
