Come And Get Your Love

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I had a very quiet day today. There were things I could have done for Kiwibank but motivation is running low. I may have spent a lot of the day procrastinating instead. 

I did have a farewell meeting with the woman who hired me. I tried to be diplomatic but I may have used the phrase "glacial pace" when I described the progress of the project I'm on.

Mind you, she used the word "toxic" to describe the project. I only wish she had mentioned that back in November last year.  

But never mind that. In the evening, I met up with Shahier in Porirua for "Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3". 

Caro thought it was "cute" that I was going on a "man-date" with Shahier. And it IS nice that we are now friends independent of Fazzy. Having said that, we DID spend most of our time talking about her. 

Because Fazzy.

As for the movie, I have to report I wasn't as keen on this one as the other two. There was still a lot to like, but I found it quite sad. Maybe not "Marley and Me" levels of sadness but do take some tissues. 

Shahier dropped me home afterward and I found Caro and Lynnie giggling about me and Kiwibank. I'm glad that my stint there is ending, but I'm equally delighted that it has provided some comedy material for my wife.
