Portland Ultimate

I've been a "frisbee groupie" for the past couple of years. I hang out with frisbee players, I live with frisbee players, I dated a frisbee player, and I've tossed a frisbee around with increasing ease and frequency lately. Somehow, however, it's taken me a while to actually start playing. This summer, that's finally changing.

I'm playing on the 317 Main St, team, part of the Portland Ultimate Summer League. My team is great. A lot of really cool people out to have fun playing ultimate. We won tonight, no doubt spurred on by our excellent pink shirts, which allowed us to see our teammates despite growing darkness.

The guy catching the disk in this shot is Matt. He wasn't originally on our team, but we poached him off of the team we played Tuesday. Good deal, I'd say!
