Looking up

A visit to the bank today for work. Since they’ve closed all the local branches down, I now have to go to the Head Office in St Andrew Square, a slightly further walk, so I ration my visits. It is a pretty impressive banking hall though; they don’t let you queue up for service any more but ask what you want and then sit you down until the teller comes over to attend to paying in your cheques (!) It’s quite a palaver but while waiting in the purple chair it’s always nice to look up and admire the magnificent dome.
