Birthday Surprise

Had a lovely morning after the night before. Went out for breakfast with Nessa and Lanovy, then Nessa and I went to town to have a drink on the roof terrace of Alchemist - the weather was glorious and we were quite sad we both had to leave to get trains home.

I headed home along with Heather to surprise Pops with a belated birthday visit...and surprised he was. Joan helped with all the lies and deceit, and when we turned up at the house Pops got quite emotional! He loved his present, which was this ceramic blackbird that he liked last time he was here, and we spent the afternoon in the sunshine drinking and catching up.

Pizza Express for dinner and there ended a fabulous day, Hopefully Pops liked it too - once he'd got over the shock!
