EASTWARD BOUND

We took the new car out for a trip to the Cleveland Hills and environs. I spotted this weathervane in one of the villages and thought she looked rather purposeful. She undoubtedly knows where the best teashops are.
Earlier we were walking round the grounds of Mount Grace Priory and someone told me that the swan had just left her nest on the lake, so I went down to look and counted five (I think) eggs (extra). I wonder whether there were more there, layered for safety?
So far we're very pleased with the car, quiet and comfortable, and it's a very bright blue which will be hard to lose in car parks.
