View from my kitchen

The trees are looking so lovely just now. Here's how they looked about three weeks ago. I didn't do a great deal today apart from quite a lot of emails. The last two days (which I haven't blipped for yet) were busy/a hassle so I reckoned a day off was the best thing. 

Sadly my literature class didn't happen today as our tutor had a family emergency and as I won't be at the next class (if my op goes ahead as scheduled) I will miss out on our discussion of Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan which I thought was excellent. I might get some of her short stories to read while I'm in hospital.
