Wolverhampton Racecourse

Today I headed south to Wolverhampton on the train. Only one change, at Edinburgh, but the journey took seven hours. The trains were not too crowded, so it was reasonably comfortable..

I had booked a hotel near the racecourse. On arrival I was surprised to find it is inside the racecourse. It is a pity there is no racing while I am here, If there were no doubt the hotel would have been fully booked.

Much warmer here than Aberdeen, I find I am a little overdressed. That is despite having dressed for a slightly warmer climate!
