Plum blossom

Spring continues, following the model two steps forward and one step back. Today was the backward step as the temperature sank to 3°, the wind roared and it poured with rain. (Inland it was snowing!!) Thanks to some of the forward steps our plum tree has blossom on a couple of the branches, so that's today's blip.
Around lunchtime the rain stopped and we went out to start our new way of life - sort and discard. We started in our storage area, which we call "the barn", on the end of the Red House with two floors. When we have space there it will make sorting the rest much easier.
We took our first carload of stuff to the tip, sorry, recycling centre. The upstairs in the barn now looks wonderful, organised and clean. The downstairs is better than when we started, and the next stage is to start work there.
However, tommorow I am back to Annika and Lasse's to help sort the boxes, set up the bookcases etc. It's a little strange as I'm the oldest person in the group but I'm also the only one strong enough to throw boxes around. Hopefully that won't be famous last words!!!
