My day was busy once I'd walked Django and gone into work for a meeting at 11:00. It was with the user of our software whom I met in November, but today she was back with her boss. After lunch with them and colleagues, they gave the second of the two seminars in the afternoon. I then did some fun programming to help my intern. I'll refer to her as Y from now, as she's sure to feature in the coming weeks.

Eventually I got a call to join A, L and K in town, where we ate Japanese at Bentoya to celebrate L's birthday, noting that my dad would have been 90 today.
