Joop

On my way home tonight I saw him wading through the water outside the banks of the river IJssel. With a great sky like that I just had to stop to shoot a portrait. He was so kind to lend me a couple of thigh boots so I wouldn't get my feet wet, although that wouldn't have bothered me for a picture like this. ;-)
He told me that he had a lucky night, three years ago was the last time that he had been fly fishing like this on this spot. This was a lucky combination of the time of the year, high water levels in the river and a warm sunny day.
