Mourne Mountains
We were orienteering in Drumkeeragh Forest on the slopes of Slieve Croob south of Belfast. It was the British Middle Championships in an area that was nothing like as bad as the details had hinted. I made a mistake at 2 and had a poor route to 6 but actually did ok. Afterwards we went up Slieve Croob, a 534 m Marilyn with good views south to the Mourne Mountains and north to Belfast. The blip is looking south from the summit to the main ridge with a little haar drifting across.
Best on black.
Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is grass.
