2023 Tuesday — Friends

Anniversary Month -- Day 17

If we can make it 13 more days we will celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary on May 29. We are celebrating all month.

This evening we learned all over again that friends and food and family are a wonderful recipe for fellowship . . . table fellowship is uniquely meaningful. We think we are feeding our bellies but really we're feeding our souls.

After the other day of being with our friend Frank, we thought it would be fun to get him away from his own kitchen and chef duties to enjoy more time with him. Frank surprised us and invited Bill Siples to join us. We are so glad he did. We have not visited with Bill in many years.

We had a million memories to catch-up on and a trillion questions to discuss as we all told story after story. Each one of us can tell how Jesus rescued us and how Jesus has done so again and again.

Mr. Fun & I had a blast and we are so glad our daughter Deidre (Dede) joined us.
