Happy 30 to me!

30 today! Happy birthday to me!

The sun came our today and I was desperate to sit in the sun, bask and enjoy an ale or two.

I was woken up early by an excited Boo and was extremely spoilt with my birthday presents! A 3 day trip to Paris in a couple of weeks time was my big present and I am extremely excited at the prospect! I've never been before, so will be great fun to have a lot of time to explore it. As well as my trip away I was also gifted with a rare Glastonbury poster, a vintage globe and crate, a cookbook, homemade biscuits, coffee pots and Paris collateral.

I picked my girls up early and we went to the library to stock up on new books. En route I bought beer for the day and was asked for ID!! What a great 30th bday present!

After a few hours basking my folks and sister and husband came over and we went to the White Hart for a slap up birthday meal. Everyone was in good spirits and seemed to enjoy the evening. Once at home champagne was toasted and Boo's homemade birthday cake was scoffed. A relaxing, enjoyable birthday all round, all thanks to Boo, my lovely daughters and my family!
