Hidden to keep it clean, or so I couldn't see what he was doing?

I had a sinus lift and bone graft this afternoon as the precursor to my final (three of three) tooth implant. As much as he was trying to get me to do it cold, ie just local anaesthetic, I went for the intravenous sedation. I didn't want to hear and feel him scraping bits of bone about and cutting my gum.

I'll have the rest of the work done just with local(s)

The ice cream can is coming down the road, I wonder if that will help?
