Yellow...

A gorgeously yellow rapeseed field on my little drive home. Nicely warm too.

In other news, an Amazon van driver drove into my wing mirror today while my car was parked on the road at work. He stopped, came into school and they went to find me to go out and talk to him. He was very apologetic & I thanked him for stopping & owning up.

After work, I got a quote from my lovely garage - an astonishing total of around £600 for the part, VAT & fitting. What a lot of money for something so little - it had to be a dealer part & that's why.

So, I asked my garage if I could just tape it up & if it would pass the MOT like that - MOT on Monday.

They said, that as long as I can see, that nothing is hanging off & that there are no sharp bits, then it would be fine.

So that's what I did, they approved it & I rang the young driver with the news. He still wanted to do something for me & so he is going to buy 100 glue sticks for school. Much cheaper :)
