Late arrivals

The joys of the SA post office. Not only do we now have to pick up our mail between prescribed times, but the delays in delivery are as bad if not worse than ever.

On a positive note, if you recognize your card here, it will have pride of place in December 2023, and we say thank you for the early greetings :-)

Thursday supper at Doppio, at a reserved table, because the area was due to be load shed. The food didn’t disappoint but the arrival of another large electrical storm came as a surprise.

The drop in temperature is marked, so the fire was lit for the first time this year. A good excuse to hibernate whenever the opportunity permits.
