Visiting pianist

May is usually Red Shield Appeal month for The Salvation Army. It’s one of the main fund raising initiatives world-wide.

David has invited a very accomplished pianist, Errol Duck-Chong to play this Saturday. He’s arrived from Sydney and David brought him into the Corps to introduce him to everyone.

He had a practice run in the auditorium and when I heard him play “How Great Thou Art”, while I was at my desk, I couldn’t resist anymore and had to go watch and listen. It was just wonderful. Rose and I then proceeded to listen together and sing along as he played. It was lovely.

Can’t wait for the concert on Saturday.
