Slowly sinking

We cycled along the river and over the bridge to the back streets of a different part of Oxford this morning, wondering about less watery places to live. The river was very high today, which is puzzling since I don't think it's been raining hard upstream. There's been a regatta in Oxford over the weekend so maybe the Environment Agency was practising flood control and keeping the water back. There's no connection, of course, but this boat is lower in the water than it's been the last three days.

I too am sinking: there's too much to do just at the moment and I'm tired, so I'll barely be commenting over the next week. I'll leave comments on but, as always, feel free not to say anything.
