Bank holiday Monday

We had a lazy morning this morning and got ready to go to the Cricket Club in the afternoon to meet baby Rhys, Louise and Gareth's gorgeous baby boy, he's only 10 days old. Eva wore her pretty dress that cousin Anna bought her and she looked beautiful!! Rhys is absolutely scrummy and so tiny, it seems so long ago now that Eva was that little awwwwww :-) . I drove Mike's car back which is the first time I've driven since January, I thought I'd forgotten how to but I guess it's like riding a bike.

Have kind of let the new routine slide. Eva was so tired so we put her to bed at 7pm but again by 7.40pm she was very much awake, so after trying in vain to settle her, we brought her back downstairs to be with us. She was still fast asleep by 10.30pm ish (the time she usually seems to go to sleep) so maybe I'm just gonna have to let her be, and when it comes to going out in the mornings for things like Rhythm Time which we've got booked, I'll just have to wake her up those days if she is asleep still having her morning nap, and if it doesn't work out that way and she is too tired to go, then we'll do our own Rhythm Time at home when she has woken up. :-) xxxxx
