Chevelle

Today's blip shows Pete Loeffler of Chevelle, who I've been to see tonight at the Islington Academy in London.

I've loved Chevelle for a few years now after first hearing them on The Buzz rock radio in Houston on my many work trips there. I love all of their albums, but 2009's Sci Fi Crimes is a firm favourite.

They hadn't played live in London for over 10 years and I'd never seen them before so tonight was a real treat and they didn't disappoint. The set list spanned their entire career and was faultless. I was only disappointed they didn't play Shameful Metaphors, but had no complaints with what they did play.

My ears are ringing and I'm shattered.
