Wading Through The Undergrowth

Sadly the council came and mowed our village green and verges irrespective of the concept of “no mow May” to leave seed heads for the birds and we had certainly been enjoying watching the bullfinches and goldfinches feeding on them up until yesterday!

Luckily one of our local farmers (who owns the cows in my recent blip) is very wildlife conscious and has left a lot of his fields, paths and gateways and certainly Dylan and I didn’t mind wading through this undergrowth to get home after our extended lunchtime walk.
