Sur Le Pont...

Yes! Our last visit was to Avignon. First to the famous bridge and then to the nearby castle(see extra). Sadly it was pouring with rain most of the time. A few of us opted out of going inside the castle. Instead we sat drinking coffee in a reasonably dry outdoor cafe.

A final lunch for all of us had been organised in a restaurant and then it was off to Avignon railway station to start our train journey home. Jack and I arrived home at midnight!

A super, short holiday but we are glad to be home.
