Only a Rose

It was lunchtime when I thought I ought to take a photo, something for today's Flower Friday hosted by BikerBear. Unfortunately it had started to rain but I persevered and took a moody looking rose poking its head above the back gate.

After the rain the weather improved considerably and we went over to see Emma and Rafferty.  By this time it was a lovely, sunny, warm day.  We took a little walk as Raffy likes seeing the digger working at the end of the street, the workmen are used to seeing Raffy as he sees them regularly on his walks.

One lovely moment was when he found he was being followed, by his shadow!  He was fascinated with this and bent down to touch it.  I am enjoying seeing him grow and discover. 

On return to Em's we sat in the garden and enjoyed the sun and Raff playing.
