Helllooo Handsome!
I couldn't get over the gorgeous patterns this guy's feathers made. He's the one crow that will let me get almost close, so hopefully as we get to know each other better I'll be able to get some nice pictures of him.
We have had a really wet and soggy holiday weekend and it's still raining. I don't think it dimmed the festivities of the Ski to Sea race or the antique car show, but it certainly would have been nice if the sun had come out just a little.
This morning I had a seriously scary wildlife extravaganza in my front yard. There were at least six squirrels, three crows and the usual flock of pigeons. I think some of the squirrels are young'uns because they look like they haven't had their orientation with mom & dad yet as to feeder etiquette and proper deference to their elders. There was some serious disciplinary action going on, but the little guys persisted. Pippin was in the mix too but he knows how to stay out of the way of the big guys. I swear, for the amount of peanuts that critter eats he should weight about 5 pounds.
Snuffy report:
I miss my little guy so much that it's starting to depress me, especially since I couldn't bring him home on Saturday and now he's been in a strange place for extra days. I'm worried that I won't be able to get away from work to go get him tomorrow or even Thursday. The thought of leaving him in Seattle until Saturday is really depressing. I know he's in good hands but he's in strange hands and I'm hoping he isn't scared.
