I Bet You Can't Guess What It Is

I went out to the garage to dig out the mandrel for making pens/pencils of the lathe (I found a load of kits the other day) .... and ended up making a small dish.
I am far too easily distracted.

The chopping board and mortal & pestle were dropped off at The Larder after their resurfacing.
They seemed very pleased - and both chefs were saying they would have to hide the chopping board from one of the other chefs (at a different location) because he is always trying to sneak it out. I think I am going to have to source another bit of wood and make him one.

3 attempts using two cameras (and a torch) to eventually get this picture of the spider outside the kitchen window .... standing on a stool, kneeling on the sink, trying to hold a heavy camera with a heavy lens in one hand. The air was blue .......
The other pictures were a bit easier (they follow on from the spider).
