Lunch Treat

We decided to treat ourselves to lunch out today at a restaurant we can walk to on Lake Union…so this is just a different angle on this view. I was surprised it was so crowded!!  But then it’s a beautiful day to sit outside in the shade and have some oysters, chowder and salad. 
There are 2 historic yachts in the photo…The 1930 Thea Foss to the right/middle is named after the Norwegian immigrant female founder of one of the the largest tugboat companies in the US…Foss Maritime...a great story.  The other partial one with the rounded stern (MV Malibu) was designed by the same designer in 1926 and rebuilt after an accident.
