Too many....

Today is Memorial Day in the USA...we honor those who, during times of war, put themselves in harms way and lost their lives for our sake...I have photographed this place before, but not on a day such as this....Walking through the cemetery among the families of the fallen was particularly moving...Some were talking and visiting, others were silent...one was playing a horn...I had the privilege of helping a couple of wonderful ladies find their parents site...and while I do not have a loved one there, I was reminded of a quote from Mother Teresa " If we have no peace it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other."...We truly are one human family....Today and everyday, it is my hope and fervent prayer that we, the USA and all countries across the globe, choose peace without the loss of another precious life.
