SPRING VINTAGE
I'm at Road America all weekend, Fri-Sun., for the Spring Vintage races featuring the SVRA series.

Mostly preliminary stuff happening from practice to 1st qualifying rounds in 18 different classes. Due to smaller number of entrants in certain classes, some classes run together but there are separate podiums for each class. Chilly today with temperatures in the middle 60s F. (18°C.) and about a 20% light haze all over the place...highly reminiscent of California smog back in the 60s. Only this haze was compliments of the cold front the Canadians decided to share with us. Unfortunately, there's lots of wild fires in western Canada in British Columbia and Alberta Provinces and it's so bad the smoke is blowing all the way to the east coast of the US. Combined with the spring pollen blowing around in the cold wind that smoke made it hard for me to breathe. I actually had to sit and rest a couple of times. Fortunately, there was a wind shift in the afternoon and much of it dissipated. Hopefully things will be fine tomorrow and the rest of the weekend.

For you motorheads petrolheads out there, this is a 1974 LeGrand MK18. For you rabid petrolheads out there in Blipville, you can find some history of this beautiful machine here: https://ininet.org/history-of-my-legrand-mk-18-1-by.html
