Geese and Babies

Busy day!!
Homeschool. (complete with tears)
Brand new bike for the big girl (her old one had a broken chain guard and was ruining ALL her clothes!)
Gymnastics.
Park - geese and goslings, swings, slides, fish, hiking, examining trees and wildflowers, more swings.
Snack of apples on the drive home which caused a loose tooth to suddenly become VERY loose which caused hours of tears and anxiety and blood and general drama and FINALLY a Momma who just yanked the thing out. Hard. And the tooth fairy is broke so I think she's writing and I.O.U note instead....
Quick dinner of leftovers and off to a homeschool book sale.
Home again and celebrate the missing tooth with some ice cream. And then, it's time to get ready for bed. The. Worst. Part. Of. The. Day.
Needless to say, there were meltdowns and fighting and a very rough evening tidy up and a Momma who finally snapped and yelled way too much and the kids are all finally in bed and the house is quiet and I have a glass of wine to tackle the dishes with and we will not go ANYWHERE tomorrow.

I do wish I didn't get overwhelmed quite so easy. The Mommy guilt of yelling is awful.

Tomorrow is a new day. "His mercies are new every morning". Start fresh and learn from the mistakes of today.

But honestly, so MUCH chaos and drama over a teddy bear?! I mean really.
Some day they will be old and I will miss them.
