Another piece of family history.

This one is interesting.
My grandfather on mums side came over to NZ as a young man.
He started off working as a farm helper, ended up being a Psychiatric Nurse.
This is his certification paper.

Back then the terms used in the industry are a bit off by today’s standards!
Mental Hospital
Director-General of Mental Hospitals
Mental Nurse.

For those of you in NZ , he worked at Carrington Hospital in Auckland.
