Lily.

This beautiful red lily came out today. Usually, I only see white or orange, this colour was rather splendid.

Went to the optician's today, he's persuaded me to try some new bi-focal contact lenses. I tried some a few years ago, and couldn't get on with them, but I'll give them another try.

I quite like my old type of lenses, but he said these new ones are like having brand new eyes. He wears them, so he should know. We'll see. (sorry about the pun!!)
