Stockbridge, England, Day before Kirstin’s Wedding
Super early rose for flight to Gatwick, picked up the rented car and drove to Stockbridge, with a stop at Winchester for a wander and a top up visit to Marks and Spencer.
Stockbridge is a beautiful little village, picturesque English, whatever that really means. We had a wander, met up with Bb’s family briefly and picked up the essential part of his outfit for tomorrow, had a siesta, and then fish and chips in the same place where we had a bite at lunchtime to shelter from the rain.
I was able to eat better today, still not hot food (let everything cool) and chewing just on one side.
The forecast is good for tomorrow. Crossing everything that it is right!
My eye was caught by this Morris Oxford on the High Street, just opposite the Grosvenor Hotel, where the bride and her party will stay tonight. For our records, we’re in the White Hart Inn.
