The wise woman

The indoor market in Avignon is an absolute paradise for a Blipper with a camera.  

It has been slightly drizzly today with occasional spots of rain, but pleasantly warm for all that.  At one stage when it was a bit miserable we popped into the market which sells the most wonderful meat, seafood, cheeses, vegetables etc.

My main is of a shopper who clearly knows her potatoes.

The extra is of a younger shopper looking a little bemused with all the choice.  Note the machine blowing cold water vapour over the lettuces and green salad in the foreground to keep it fresh.

Finally, we came across a bee hive later in the morning and I couldn't resist the shot of one of the honey bees, even though I had completely the wrong lens on the camera.
