The Peace bridge

This is the Peace bridge that spans the River Foyle. We're enjoying our weekend in Derry/Londonderry and we've been very lucky with the weather! We've had a great day today, and wandered back to the hotel about 3:45pm, 15 minutes later and the rain was falling! We visited St Columba's Cathedral, within the city walls, the volunteer who was there was very knowledgeable about the cathedral and the city. We walked the city walls - and saw the mural dedicated to the TV comedy series Derry Girls, and we also saw the Guildhall. We're looking forward to dinner in the hotel restaurant and I reckon we deserve a dessert this evening after the steps we walked today!
