Resurrection

Yesterday I found this big black beetle drowned in Wibur’s waterbowl. I felt really bad for not putting a stick in in so that anything that fell inside could have an escape route. I even dreamed about him. I left his stiff body on the garden table to ask a friend to identify him the next day. In the morning I saw his legs move! He was still upside down but I turned him round and he very slowly recovered in the early sun. I could not believe he came back to life! Very pleased, so when he started walking (a bit unsteady on his feet) I put him in a far part of the garden, so he can dig himself in somewhere.
