Dinner Time

It's frantic feeding time for our bluetits just now. It is normal for them to look very scruffy at this stage. The chicks need around 100 grubs each a day. Just watching the parents flitting backwards and forwards is exhausting.

By contrast, the magpie in the extra looks very laid back, taking time to gaze in at the window to see what I'm up to.
