‘Three Generations at parkrun’

Had my daughter and her husband, plus my two grandchildren staying with MollyG and myself last night after my daughter had been running an evening race that included Cramond Island.

This morning, since running seemed to be the weekend theme, we all did parkrun together.

Well, perhaps not exactly together, but rather at our own different paces, and my granddaughter (who - even though she knows that parkrun is ‘a run, not a race’ - and admits to being somewhat competitive) was the first of us to finish in what was her - and also my grandson’s - first full 5k parkrun!

Well done, everyone! The cake and rolls at the cafe afterwards were a much-appreciated reward!
