Old and New

I've had dual citizenship for the past year. Now that I'm going to turn 21 I had to renounce my Indian citizenship. It wasn't a sad moment or even a poignant one. It was simply a pragmatic decision. Traveling is so much easier with a Singaporean passport since I don't need a visa for most countries. I've not used my Indian passport at all for the past 2 years. When I found it unceremoniously tucked away at the corner of a drawer today, it gave me a bit of a pause.
