Adventures at home

The sun shone today and we jumped on our bicycles full of the joy of exploring the Sussex countryside. However, we couldn't get on the train out of London. Boo. Too many people had thought the same and most seemed to have bicycles and buggies. Not for the first time, I wished for a guard's van.

So, in a huff, we packed up the idea of escaping London and enjoyed the sunny day in our back garden instead, accompanied by the menagerie. Late afternoon, we cycled to Dulwich Park to play some table tennis (Fred won) then pedalled on to The Rye in Peckham for a drink in the sun.
