Before The Rain

When the leaves of the Sorbus open they have a lovely, soft, furry texture and grey-green colour but that changes rapidly after a down-pour. I fell a really wet day is about to arrive to spoil the Bank Holiday.

I remember the Spring Bank Holiday of 25 years ago. As usual, I prepared my girls' outfits for the village fancy-dress competition! Great times!

Then, there will be others like me who will remember when the Bank Holiday was at Whitsun.
