Starbuck going for the big stretch.

Been gone a while, lots of back-blipping to do. There’s been a frenzy of renovations this last week.

Then: Thursday we left for Colorado. Only 145 miles away from Tucson an alarm went off on the dashboard. Our air brakes were leaking.

We barely made it to a truck stop. Thankfully they let us spend the night in their lot.

Friday: a black truck with an air compressor fills us up, then follows us to the Cummins repair center 60 miles away. Heavy traffic and an accident made it kinda scary as the pressure kept dropping, but we didn’t have to stop for a fill up.

Now: we’re waiting in the parking lot for a Monday repair.
Luckily, there’s electricity to plug into as temps are in the 90’s.

So, we scratch our days of photographing soaring condors and Desert bighorn babies playing.
Another time.
